  3. Manuscript Specifications:
    (1) Manuscripts should not exceed 20,000 Chinese characters or 10,000 English words, including the abstract (no more than 500 Chinese characters or 300 English words) and keywords (3–5 words).
    (2) Authors should submit hard copies of articles and abstracts and include no information identifying the author, to ensure that the manuscripts are submitted anonymously to reviewers.

  4. Copyrights:
The policy of the Educational Review requires all authors to sign a release of copyright form.

  5. Submission procedure:
Please submit your manuscript online. All manuscripts must be produced using a computer word processor. For information regarding the manuscript submission process and procedure, please refer to
    http://jrs.edubook.com.tw/ER/index_login.zul?locale=en
After completing the online submission procedure, please mail the submission application form, along with three copies of the written manuscript meeting the Call for Papers guidelines, to the Education Review Journal Committee of the Department of Education, National Kaohsiung Normal University, No. 116, Heping 1st Rd., Lingya Dist., Kaohsiung City, 802, Taiwan (R.O.C.). Applicants whose manuscripts have passed the review for publication will be required to submit a letter assigning the copyright for the manuscript to our school, as well as a CD containing the revised manuscript (please attach a label with the author’s name and the file name). Failure to provide a CD will result in rejection for publication.

Review Procedures:

  1. This journal adopts a double-blind peer review system. Submissions are first read by the editors and then sent to two qualified anonymous reviewers.

  2. If the two reviewers’ comments on the manuscript differ substantially, the editors will submit the manuscript to a third referee.

  3. The authors should revise the manuscript carefully according to the referees’ comments, and resubmit the revised version to the journal editors for further review.

  4. The editor-in-chief and editorial board review all submitted papers bimonthly. Authors will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of manuscripts after each regular editorial meeting.

  5. If the editorial board determines that the author(s) have violated publishing ethics, such as by plagiarizing other authors’ works, the author(s) will be forbidden from submitting manuscripts to the journal for 3 years, and will be required to assume full legal responsibility.
